TOP MODEL EUROPE
TOP MODEL EUROPE is the most prestigious international modelling contest. The selection is organized in 15 countries. The aim of the contest is to discover new potential models and to promote them, with the implication of our international partners (agencies, photographers, fashion designers, directors of major brands etc.) in order to boost a national or international career.

WHY SO MUCH SUCCESS AT TOP MODEL EUROPE ?
The different steps of the contest are proposed in order to develop the visibility of the candidates and to progressively help them to acquire the necessary bases to succeed in the fashion industry.
The teams and partners are professionals from the fashion world (fashion designers, photographers, agencies). There is also a psychologist and 2 sports coaches who participate in the different seps of the contest. Promoting the personal and professional development of the candidates is one of the prior objectives of our teams.
3 CATEGORIES
Candidates must be between 14 and 28 years old (Fashion / Commercial models ) and between 16 and 32 years old (Sports / Fitness models). Your category will be assigned to you based on your characteristics.
FASHION MODELS: Females (min. 175cm) and Males (min. 185cm)
COMMERCIAL MODEL Feminine and Masculine ( no size criteria)
SPORTS / FITNESS MODEL Male (no height criteria) / athletic body for sportswear ads / underwear.

THE JURY
The jury is carefully selected by Top Model Europe's Committee. It is composed of professionals from the fashion industry, accustomed to selecting models. Every event is a unique opportunity to be spotted.
PRICE FOR LAUREATS
In addition to the exposure with professionals and gifts by partners, the winners of Top Model Europe will participate in a "Fashion Journey" in which they will either perform in a Fashion Week or create their modelling portfolio. During a year they will be coached by the team and promoted to partners from the fashion industry.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT
The winners and some of the jury's favorites will join a partner agency dedicated to model management, whose aim will be to coach and prepare them for the needs of fashion partners and international agencies. Together with Top Model Europe, she will follow models through every stage of their evolution until they reach their optimum potential, to help them develop their careers.

Is there a participation fee ?
- Entry fees for the Top Model Europe competition are €39 (EU countries), £35 (UK) and 50CHF (Switzerland).
- They can be paid by credit card, online, on the website
- During the contest, the candidate does not have to search for sponsors.
- During the contest the candidate is not subject to any obligation to buy or sell products or services which may be proposed by the Organiser or its partners.
Do I need sponsors ?
- The candidate does not have to search for any sponsors.
How do I dress for the selection ?
For the selection, wear simple black pieces of clothing (T-shirt with trousers, jeans, legging, skirt, etc.). To highlight your silhouette, choose items with close-fitting cuts.
Girls will preferably wear high-heeled shoes.
What hairstyle and makeup are best for the selection ?
For the selection, stay natural: think of a simple hairstyle and for girls a light makeup only
How is the selection organized ?
The selection - Jury and public vote
Candidates are evaluated by the jury. The evaluation is made on the basis of the photos and information sent by the candidate but also, according to the choice of the Top Model Europe committee, on the basis of one of the following options:
- presentation of the model at a casting
- model presentation at a video conference
- presentation of the model with a video recorded by the candidate
The jury's vote is supplemented by a public vote via the competition website and/or social networks.
Voting is free and each visitor can vote once for each model during a period determined by the Top Model Europe.committee.
How does the jury select the candidates?
Models are required to be photogenic, authentic and natural. During the selection, the jury will be looking in particular at your natural beauty, your eyes ( a very expressive look), the symmetry of your face, your presence, personality, your style. These numerous criterias can be even more important than beauty itself.
When a jury member is a photographer or fashion designer, he will simply ask himself this question: Do I want to work with the model ?
At the end of the selection and at each step of the contest, the jury will give a positive opinion for models he believes have potential in the fashion world.
Why is there a public vote ?
If a model or FASHION MODEL must regularly convince an agency, a director of castings, a client, a photographer or a fashion designer to work with him/her, it should not be forgotten that they choose the models and FASHION MODELS according to the final objective: the creation of an advertisement or a fashion show to promote the sale of a product to the public. .
Models are therefore always chosen for their qualities that could appeal to the public.
At Top Model Europe , the jury's vote is supplemented by an online public vote on Internet. Voting is free.
I am selected, will I be coached ?
Yes, the finalists receive a professional training.
This includes the basic techniques of the catwalk (maintenance and gait during a runway), acting techniques (relaxation, spontaneity, sensibility) that allows each model to reveal their personality. It also includes exercises inspired by behavioral psychology that allow the model to overcome possible stage fright through a better management of stress, self-image and self-confidence.
The whole coaching process is provided by professionals of the artistic and fashion world and supervised by the psychologist of the contest.
