Appendix 1 - DIY (Do It Yourself) option conditions<\/h2> <\/div> \n\t
\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t

Candidates who choose to continue in the competition without paying the membership fee or sponsor fee must prove, by their own means, that they have acquired the basic skills set out in the semi-finalist training program.<\/p>\n

1. Official photograph<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Candidates must provide an official photo that complies with the technical criteria communicated by the committee (format, framing, style).<\/li>\n
  • The photo must be taken by a professional photographer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    2. Catwalk training<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Candidates must have completed at least 1 hour of basic catwalk training with a recognized professional*.<\/li>\n
    • If he qualifies for the next stage, he must provide proof of at least 2 additional hours of training.<\/li>\n
    • Training must be covered by an invoice or official certificate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      * Criteria for a catwalk professional<\/strong> :<\/p>\n

        \n
      • The chosen professional must be able to demonstrate significant experience exclusively in the modeling field.<\/li>\n
      • He must be able to justify having worked with several models who have subsequently joined or collaborated with a modeling agency recognized by the profession.<\/li>\n
      • The committee reserves the right to check the references given.<\/li>\n
      • The following are not accepted: coaching provided by people known mainly for their participation in reality TV programs, or whose activity is based essentially on influence on social networks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        3. Pola-agency\" photographs<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Candidates must submit 4 polaroids (pola-agency) complying with international agency standards (face, profile, full-length).<\/li>\n
        • These photos can be taken :\n
            \n
          • by a professional photographer<\/li>\n
          • or by the candidate himself, provided he strictly complies with the technical criteria communicated by the committee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            4. Training in stress management and dealing with the gaze of others<\/strong><\/p>\n

              \n
            • Applicants must provide proof ofminimum 1 hour of training<\/strong> in this area.<\/li>\n
            • The course can be taken with a professional such as :\n
                \n
              • scenic expression coach;<\/li>\n
              • public speaking trainer;<\/li>\n
              • drama teacher;<\/li>\n
              • acting coach (actor's studio, etc.);<\/li>\n
              • psychologist;<\/li>\n
              • personal development coach;<\/li>\n
              • \n

                sophrologist or mental coach;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

              • The service must be covered by an official invoice or certificate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                5. Body measurements and autonomy<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  \n
                • Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they have acquired the ability to :\n
                    \n
                  • take correct body measurements (chest, waist and hip circumferences)<\/li>\n
                  • create your own polaroids to professional standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                  • This apprenticeship can be acquired with a professional or independently.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    6. Transmission of equipment and supporting documents<\/strong><\/p>\n

                      \n
                    • Candidates must inform the committee of their decision to opt for the DIY option at least 21 days before the date of their semi-final, exclusively via the section Contact<\/em> from the official website. He\/she will receive the necessary technical details concerning the required photos. The official photo and all supporting documents (invoices or official name certificates) must be e-mailed to the committee at least 7 days before the date of the candidate's semi-final.<\/li>\n
                    • In the absence of supporting documents within the allotted time, the candidate will automatically be disqualified, with no possibility of appeal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      7. Candidate's autonomy<\/strong><\/p>\n

                        \n
                      • Candidates opting for this alternative option are solely responsible for choosing and finding their service providers (photographers, coaches, trainers, etc.).<\/li>\n
                      • It is not the role of the committee to provide a list of contacts, nor to direct candidates to specific professionals. This option implies total autonomy on the part of the participant in managing his or her own career path.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                        8. Invitation to the semi-final <\/strong><\/p>\n

                        The candidate will be called at a specific time communicated by the committee, generally after the other semi-finalists' session. He\/she must be present at the specified time in order to demonstrate the skills acquired through training and personal work, as part of his\/her semi-final evaluation. As the official photo and proof of training have been sent 7 days in advance, no further remittance will be accepted on the day of the semi-final.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
